Type your best guess at spelling a word into WildSpeller, press the return key, and a list of words will appear.
You can use wildcards * and ? to substitute for letters you aren't sure of. An * replaces any number of any characters, including none, and ? replaces any one character. If you don't include * or ?, WildSpeller shows words that sound like what you typed.
If you type newmoanya and press the return key, one of the displayed words is pneumonia. In this case, no * or ? means WildSpeller lists words that sound like what you typed.
Alternatively, if you type pneumonoul*, the list will be all words starting with "pneumonoul" followed by any number of any letters.
To copy a word to the clipboard use menu item Edit->Copy, key combination Command+C or context menu item Copy. Double-clicking a word will copy it also.
Checking the Use Large Dictionary checkbox will cause WildSpeller to use a 527,000-word dictionary. This may result in many synonyms in the list, possibly making it hard to find the word you want. The default Small Dictionary has about 58,000 words.
